When selecting the number and locations of switchboards, the following rules should be followed:
— all receivers belonging to the same process line should be supplied from one switchgear,
— each dedicated production space should have its own switchboard,
— it is recommended to place the switchgear in the immediate vicinity of the receivers supplied from it,
— if the production department is located in several rooms, it is recommended to install a switchboard in each room,
— in the case of a small number of receivers in a section with several rooms, it is allowed to use one switchgear for them in the room with the easiest access,
— if consumers are started from the switchgear, it should be set that way, so that they are visible from it,
- in public areas, the switchgear should be moved away from communication and transport routes,
— switchgear should be designed close to the center of load,
— the number of outlets from the switchgear should not exceed 15,
- a manual switch should be placed at the inlet to the switchgear.
