Separate electric circuits in the apartments

The following separate circuits should be used in the apartments:
- a circuit supplying ceiling and wall lighting outlets,
- power supply circuit for general purpose plug sockets,
- the circuit powering the washing machine socket,
- power circuit for plug sockets in the kitchen and bathroom,
- the circuit supplying the receivers constantly (electric cookers, water heaters, floor heating).

One circuit may not be connected to more than 10 socket outlets and no more than 20 lighting outlets. Common circuits for lighting receivers and plug sockets can be used, if at least two circuits will be used in a given room.

According to COBR recommendations. Electrical installation in living quarters should be anticipated:
— w pokojach 1 Double socket for each 4-6 m² of floor space, but no less than 2 sockets,
— w kuchni 4-5 sockets including one socket 16 A,
- in the hall, at least 1 socket in an accessible place,
— w łazience 1 or 2 sockets, including one 16 And to power the washing machine.

The socket outlets in the rooms should be installed directly above the baseboard. In construction with a traditional system, socket outlets can be placed at a height 0,85 m from the floor. In the kitchen, plug sockets are installed at a height 1,20 m from the floor. In the bathroom, in the place designated for the washing machine, a socket outlet should be installed at a height 1,20 m from the floor. In addition, next to the washbasin, a socket for an electric razor should be provided at a height 1,6 m from the floor. Plug sockets in the room should be designed on both sides of the window and on the wall opposite to the window, as long as the layout of the room does not dictate the unambiguous arrangement of the furniture. All plug sockets should be equipped with a protective contact.

Lighting control switches should be placed inside the rooms at the door from the handle side at a height 1,4 m from the floor. In bathrooms, WC and in the kitchens, where there is no place to place the connector, they should be located at the door outside these rooms.

Depending on the structure of the building and the adopted method of installation, the appropriate type of pipes is used, the following sections are in each case:
— dla obwodów wypustów oświetleniowych 1,5 Mm2 Cu,
— dla obwodów gniazd wtyczkowych 1,5 mm2 or 2,5 Mm2 Cu.

For aesthetic reasons, there are mainly two ways of laying cables in the apartments: under plaster or in plaster.

Plug-in cables are attached to walls and ceilings and covered with mortar. All connections are made in boxes and rosettes. Cables should be run parallel or perpendicular to floors and ceilings. The cables must not be run diagonally, as the user of the room may damage the installation while hammering a nail into the wall, and it can even become electrocuted.

In the construction industry, cables are run in prepared grooves made of prefabricated elements with a texture that does not require plastering, in the gaps between the elements, in the empty spaces of the ceiling blocks, under the skirting boards and in the prefabricated skirting boards.
