Light fixtures – requirements:
1. Oprawy oświetleniowe oświetlenia podstawowego w pomieszczeniach innych niż suche lub na zewnątrz pomieszczeń, placed at a height less than 250 cm from the surface, walked on and powered by a rated voltage higher than 42 V alternating current or 80 V DC, they should be constructed or shielded to prevent direct contact with the hand of light sources.
2. W suchych pomieszczeniach budynków nieprzemysłowych z podłogami przewodzącymi; (staircases, cellars, attics etc.) it is allowed to place bulbs in porcelain heavy-type fittings equipped with a lampshade, provided, that the lowest point of the fixture will not be lower than 1,8 m above the floor.
3. Cantilever fittings may be placed in bathrooms, made of insulating materials, with screw-in shade provided, that the luminaire is in the zone 2 or 3. Luminaire in the zone 2 must be made in protection class II.
4. Wprowadzenie do oprawy oświetleniowej więcej niż jednej fazy jest dozwolone tylko dla opraw oświetleniowych wielofazowych zainstalowanych w pomieszczeniach niemieszkalnych, whereby lighting fixtures with inserted wires with a line-to-line voltage greater than 250 V should be provided with permanent warning notices: wax affixed, so that they are visible to people manipulating with these frames.
5. Typ oprawy powinien być dostosowany do warunków panujących w miejscu jej zainstalowania (in rooms with dust, dustproof fittings, in explosive or fire hazardous areas, explosion-proof fittings, etc.).
