Flush-mounted installations

Flush-mounted installations.
This type of installation is used primarily in residential and general construction (schools, hospitals, clinics, china, theaters, offices etc.). They are also used in industrial construction in non-production facilities.

Multi-core plug-in cables with PVC insulation, DYt type, are used to make in-wall installations.. It is also possible to lay DYp flat cables in the plaster, IS.

The boxes should be mounted on plastered walls by plastering them. On wooden walls, the boxes should be fastened with wood screws. They can also be glued to the walls.

The method of routing and fixing the cables depends on the type of substrate and the technology of construction works. In traditional construction, the cables are laid by fastening them to the ground with nails, hammered into the insulation between the wires of the cable, or with the use of clamps. After the plaster has hardened, be sure to remove all hammered nails. Cables should be run parallel or perpendicular to floors and ceilings. The cables should be glued to concrete walls and ceilings.

On the base of easily flammable materials, e.g. on wood, cables can be laid on a mortar layer of at least thickness 5 Mm, separating the duct from the wall. Cables with two layers of insulation can be laid directly on the base of flammable materials, i.e. core insulation and a common insulating layer, provided, that the circuit protection is no more than 16 A. Gypsum mortar is placed over the wires at intervals of approx 50 cm, and then covered with plaster.

Change of construction technology to the one using prefabricated elements, not requiring plaster, changed the way cables are laid. They are conducted in one of the following ways:

— w bruzdach przygotowanych przy prefabrykacji elementów budowlanych,

— w szczelinach między poszczególnymi elementami budowlanymi,

— w pustej przestrzeni bloków stropowych,

— w szczelinach bloków stropowych,

- under the baseboards (plug socket circuits),

— w listwach podłogowych prefabrykowanych.
