Installations made with bare or single-core insulated conductors on insulating supports.
Cable routes and places for connectors, plug sockets, fixtures etc.. is designated, however, you should keep approx. 80 cm distance between knobs or rollers.
Porcelain knobs and rollers should be placed on wooden blocks or on steel spikes shot or manually driven into the wall. Insulators should be mounted on straight or hook shafts, and screw the shafts into the wood, fasten with nuts on steel structures or embed in masonry with the use of cement mortar. The insulators should be fitted to the shafts before attaching the shafts. The insulator should be screwed onto the shaft, the end of which is wrapped with hemp fiber, saturated varnish with a blush.
The cables are attached to the knobs, rolls or insulators with a soft galvanized steel wire 1.5-2 mm in diameter or with a strong impregnated string. Bare conductors should be protected against contact and mechanical damage with covers. Passages in pipes made of insulating material should be made through walls and ceilings through bushings or through holes made of insulating material. In rooms with corrosive fumes, coat bare wires twice with acid-resistant varnish. The wires should be connected near knobs or insulators, by using screw terminals or by soldering.
